Looking back the black was OK but I had to spray it Ferrari red to stop people saying 'what is it?' Lots of mods have been done here such as moving the indicator sockets down, removing the bonnet vents, making new sockets for the rear lights. There's lots of bits you can't see too such as sorting the door hinges. This involved lots of welding, but now the doors open and close like 'real' doors! The big debate is the wheels at the moment...19 inchers would transform the car, but there are big beetle drums behind them and I'd need massive spacers unless I go for split rims...big disc brake conversions and 19 inch wheels are the answer but it's starting to get a bit expensive.
