Karma kit car.

Episode 1

The revenge of the rubber man.

I have to be honest, I've had the car a while now, so I can't make out I'm writing this as I go along.

I've had the car a couple of months.

The car used to belong to Adrian, the owner of the rubber company where we get our seals from.

About a year ago he asked if we had any Ferrari lights for a kit car he was building. I said yes, but the price seemed to put him off.

On a later visit he asked if I knew anyone who wanted to buy the car.  I'm not into kit cars, cold, bone shaker I thought... "no but I'll ask around" I said.

Months passed and every time I called he asked if I'd found a buyer. We don't move in the world of kit cars at Quad Conversions, I don't have the time to restore one, it would be madness.  Friends and family confirmed this.

Out of interest I booked a time to go see it. Saturday... 'time for me to clean it up a bit... looks like the chickens have been living in it' he said.

Sure enough, down a dirt track, in a ram shackled shed, up on stands, was the black beast.

'Madness' they said... 'ummm, how can I raise the cash' I thought.
